I'm Shannon Taft. Since 2023 I've lived and worked in Ukraine, training civilians, volunteers, humanitarian teams and soldiers in tactical medicine, so that when the worst happens, someone nearby knows exactly what to do.

Drone strikes, shelling and everyday accidents don't wait for an ambulance. Lions of Lviv is a grassroots initiative that puts life-saving skills directly into the hands of the people who are there first: neighbours, factory workers, volunteers, aid workers and soldiers.
